pro bono Programme

For the Public Good

Our Pro Bono Programme was formally set up in 2008. Leveraging off our Firm’s expertise and experience in corporate as well as charity law and governance, the programme’s focus is on helping charities and non-profit organisations to navigate legal and regulatory issues.

Apart from corporate and charity law expertise, our specialist lawyers in other practice areas provide specialist advice where required, for instance, real estate and tax. By providing top-notch legal advice to charities and non-profit organisations on a pro bono basis, we aim to free up charities or non-profit entities to do what they do best, helping enhance the lives of many and fulfilling their own organisational objectives and missions.

In addition to our Pro Bono Programme targeted at charities and non-profit entities, our lawyers are also involved in traditional pro bono work, for instance, taking on criminal cases under the Law Society of Singapore’s Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS) and also volunteering at the Law Society’s legal clinics.
