Christina Ong joined the Firm as a Partner in 1987 and is Head of Financial Services. Prior to that she was a Partner with another leading law firm in Singapore. Christina's areas of practice include banking, securities offerings, securities regulations, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, capital markets, and corporate finance.

She has been involved in a broad range of international transactions in Asia, including debt and equity issues. She also provides corporate advice, particularly to listed clients.

A graduate from the National University of Singapore, she was awarded the Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par memorial prize for being first in her Postgraduate Law Course. She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the International Bar Association. Christina was called to the Singapore Bar in 1975.

She is widely recognised as a leading banking and finance lawyer in Singapore by various notable legal directories including Chambers Global (2001/2002, 2002/2003, 2003, 2004/2005, 2006 and 2007), Chambers Asia (2008), IFLR 1000 (2003 - 2005), The Asia Pacific Legal 500 (2001 - 2008) and Asialaw Leading Lawyers (2004 - 2007).

In Who’s Who Legal Singapore (2008), Christina is described in the area of capital markets as having "attracted high praise for her 'first-class all round practice' which, according to sources, secures her a place as 'one of the leaders in Singapore'".
