Ernest Teo is a Partner in Corporate Real Estate. His expertise is in acting for property developers in the acquisition and development of commercial, industrial and residential projects.

He also advises and acts for statutory boards such as Sentosa Development Corporation and JTC in their sale of land at Sentosa Cove and one-north respectively.

Ernest also has experience in direct and indirect acquisitions including en bloc acquisitions, real estate financing, commercial leasing and real estate investment trusts.

His recent transaction experience include advising:

•	Sentosa Development Corporation on legal issues relating to Sentosa Cove including the drafting of subsidiary legislation for Sentosa Cove;
•	Institute of Technical Education in a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project for the development of a technical training institution;
•	a CapitaLand subsidiary in its en bloc acquisition of Dragon View Park at an acquisition value of S$128 million;
•	MCL Land subsidiaries in the en bloc acquisition of a number of residential sites in Singapore with total acquisition value of over S$300 million; and
•	Singapore Power Limited and Public Utilities Board in the sale of Singapore Power Building with a transaction value of S$1.01 billion.

Ernest graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1994. He joined Allen & Gledhill in 2001.
