Ho Kin San has been practising as a real estate lawyer since 1988. He joined Allen & Gledhill LLP in April 2001 as a Partner in Corporate Real Estate.
He has a broad range of experience in corporate real estate work including real estate investment trusts, asset securitisation, private equity property funds, direct and indirect acquisitions, property joint ventures and development projects. His clients include local and foreign investors, property fund managers, multinational national corporations, government-linked companies, statutory boards and developers.
Kin San has been involved in the establishment of the CapitaMall Trust, CapitaCommercial Trust, Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust, Suntec REIT, CDL Hospitality Trusts, First REIT and Lippo-Mapletree Indonesia Retail Trust, including acting in the initial property portfolio acquisitions by these Trusts at the initial public offerings or introduction on the Singapore Exchange. He was also involved in the asset securitisation of Metro Holdings Limited's stake in Ngee Ann City.
He has acted for REITs, fund managers and other property investors on numerous acquisitions, sale and lease-back transactions and divestments of retail malls, office buildings, industrial buildings, hotels, and hospitality and healthcare buildings, both in Singapore and in the region.
He also regularly advises developers of commercial and residential projects.
Kin San graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1988, and took a Masters in Law specialising in Commercial and Corporate Law from King's College, London in 1991. He is a member of the Singapore Bar since 1988.
