Leonard Ching joined Allen & Gledhill in 1996 and has been a Partner in Financial Services since 2000. His areas of practice encompass equity issues and listings on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, as well as corporate and compliance advisory work for Singapore-listed companies.

Recent transactions of significance in which he has been involved include:

•	the initial public offer by First Ship Lease Trust, a business trust constituted in Singapore, and its listing on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in 2007;
•	the initial public offer by PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk, a company incorporated in Indonesia and which is also listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange, and its listing on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in 2006;
•	the initial public offer by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, a company incorporated in Thailand, and its listing on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in 2006;
•	the initial public offer by Biosensors International Group, Ltd., a company incorporated in Bermuda, and its listing on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in 2005;
•	the initial public offer by STX Pan Ocean Co. Ltd, a company incorporated in Korea, and its listing on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in 2005; and
•	the initial public offer by C&O Pharmaceutical Technology (Holdings) Limited, a company incorporated in Bermuda, and its listing on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in 2005.

Leonard graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1996 and joined Allen & Gledhill the same year.
