Mak Wei Munn is a Partner in Litigation & Dispute Resolution. Her practice comprises of a range of civil litigation areas. These include contractual and commercial disputes, breaches of trust and fiduciary duties, unauthorised share trading and commercial fraud.
Her practice also covers high-level inquiries by financial institutions and other organisations into breaches of duties, fraud and professional negligence.
Wei Munn has a special interest in professional negligence with a focus on medical negligence. She has acted for hospitals, clinics and doctors in a variety of cases involving civil claims, disciplinary proceedings and Coroner's inquiries. She also advises on regulatory and ethical issues in clinical practice and medical research.
Wei Munn has also spent several months dealing exclusively with telecommunications law and industry issues. During this period, she was involved in the development, negotiation and drafting of business plans and agreements, advising on industry related disputes and regulatory matters.
Wei Munn graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree and joined Allen & Gledhill after being called to the Singapore bar in 1997.
