Steven has been a Partner in Financial Services since 2002. His areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and corporate advisory work for listed companies.

His recent transaction experience includes advising on:

•	the mandatory conditional cash offer by Walnut Pte Ltd for all the issued ordinary shares in the share capital of Chuan Hup Holdings Limited;
•	the purchase by OUE Realty Pte Ltd (formerly known as Lippo Property Investment Pte Ltd) of an aggregate 55.04 per cent. in Overseas Union Enterprise Limited ("OUE") from United Overseas Bank Limited, and the subsequent mandatory unconditional cash offer for OUE;
•	the partial divestment by SingTel of its stake in Singapore Post Limited;
•	the equity fund raising of approximately S$435 million by Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund Limited to finance certain of its new acquisitions;
•	the mandatory unconditional takeover offer for Total Access Communication Public Company Limited;
•	the joint venture between Asia Pacific Breweries Limited, Sri Lankan-based Anandappa family group and associates and MBL Offshore Limited in United Breweries Lanka Limited;
•	the merger of Integrated Microelectronics, Inc and Speedy-Tech Electronics Ltd;
•	the sale of Chuan Hup Holdings Limited’s entire marine logistic business to Habib Corporation Berhad; and
•	the mandatory unconditional take-over offer by Kingboard Chemical Holdings Limited for Elec & Eltek International Company Limited.

Prior to joining Allen & Gledhill, Steven was a Magistrate and Deputy Registrar of the Subordinate Courts of Singapore. Steven graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1995 and obtained an LLM from the University of Cambridge. Steven was called to the Singapore Bar in 1996 and joined Allen & Gledhill in 1999. He has also been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors, England and Wales as a non-practising member. He is cited in The Asia Pacific Legal 500 (2002/2003) as a highly experienced Corporate/M&A lawyer.
