Steven Lo is a Partner in Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions. His areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and corporate advisory work for listed companies.
He has advised bidders and target companies in both public and private takeover transactions in Singapore and the region. In addition, Steven has also advised Singapore listed companies in relation to capital restructurings and distributions, share consolidations and sub-divisions and generally with their continuing obligations under the listing rules in Singapore.
In terms of equity capital markets work, Steven has advised issuers, underwriters and selling shareholders in a wide range of capital markets transactions including initial public offerings, placements, preferential offerings, rights issues and block trades.
Prior to rejoining Allen & Gledhill in 1999, Steven was a Magistrate and Deputy Registrar of the Subordinate Courts of Singapore. Steven graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1995 and obtained an LLM from the University of Cambridge on a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust scholarship. Steven was called to the Singapore Bar in 1996 and is also admitted to the Roll of Solicitors, England and Wales as a non-practising member. The Asia Pacific Legal 500 (2008/2009) notes that “Steven Lo provides ‘solid advice’.”
