Vincent graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree (First Class) in 2002 where he was awarded various academic prizes. In 2008, Vincent was awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship to study at Harvard Law School where he obtained an LLM.
Vincent commenced his career as a law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He thereafter served in the Singapore Legal Service in various capacities including Assistant Registrar of the Supreme Court, Magistrate of the Subordinate Courts, and Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel at the Attorney-General’s Chambers. Vincent was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2005 and he joined Allen & Gledhill in 2007.
Vincent has written various articles and grounds of decisions on different areas of the law and has also contributed to a number of leading publications, including the Singapore Civil Procedure 2007 where he was a contributing editor, and the inaugural edition of the Criminal Law volume of Halsbury’s Laws of Singapore.
Vincent is concurrently on the adjunct faculty of the National University of Singapore where he has taught for many years.
