| The Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, delivered the Budget Statement for the Financial Year 2011 (“Budget 2011”) on 18 February 2011. This Allen & Gledhill Tax Update highlights a number of significant tax changes announced in Budget 2011, including enhancements to the Productivity and Innovation Credit Scheme, introduction of the Foreign Tax Credit Pooling System, tax incentives for the Financial Sector, a new Maritime Sector Incentive, changes to the Goods and Services Tax (GST), and miscellaneous tax changes. |
