Wong Jie Ning

Jie Ning is a Partner in Allen & Gledhill’s Banking & Finance Practice. She has experience in advising banks and corporate borrowers on general corporate financing, project financing, subscription line financing and real estate and development financing transactions.

Jie Ning graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 2012, and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2014. She had worked as legal counsel with a government agency in Singapore before joining Allen & Gledhill.

Work Highlights

• Acted for DBS, OCBC, SMBC and UOB in the grant and primary syndication of the secured S$2.005 billion term loan, revolving credit and bank guarantee facilities to three SPVs (joint ventures of Lendlease Corporation Limited and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority), for the financing development of a mixed-use development known as Paya Lebar Quarter.
• Acted for ING Bank N.V. on the secured S$50 million green loan facilities granted to Sunseap Commercial Assets Pte. Ltd., for the project financing of its rooftop solar power projects.
• Helped author the SORA Market Compendium published by the Steering Committee for SOR Transition to SORA on 27 October 2020 (and later updated on 17 November 2021).
