MMK74 billion project financing facility by Kanbawza Bank Limited
Allen & Gledhill advised Kanbawza Bank Limited on the MMK74 billion project financing facility provided to PowerGen Kyaukse Co. Ltd. for the construction of a 145 MW gas engine power plant at Bellin, Kyaukse Township.
The Kyaukse power plant financing deal is one of Myanmar first project financing undertaken by a Myanmar bank.
Advising Kanbawza Bank Limited were Managing Director Minn Naing Oo and Director Lee Jun Yee from the Myanmar office of Allen & Gledhill.
