As of early May 2020, Myanmar has a relatively low figure of less than 200 Covid-19 cases. The government acknowledges, however, the economic consequences of Covid-19, which have been felt in Myanmar. These include disrupted supply chain and trade flows, falls in retail and discretionary spending, a near cessation of tourism and an understandable slump in consumer and investment sentiment. In managing the Covid-19 situation, the Myanmar government has systematically issued a variety of measures, some of which are tabulated in this article.
