Myanmar Directorate of Investment and Company Administration amends fees for various company incorporation processes

On 26 March 2024, the Myanmar Directorate of Investment and Company Administration issued Notification No. 57/2024 (“Notification No. 57”) which amends Notification No. 84/2019 (“Notification No. 84”).
Notification No. 84 reduced the fees from MMK 250,000 to MMK 150,000 MMK for various incorporation processes including:
- incorporation of private companies limited by shares;
- incorporation of companies limited by guarantee;
- incorporation of unlimited companies;
- registration of private companies limited by shares under the Special Company Act 1950; and
- registration as overseas corporations.
Notification No. 57 increases these fees from MMK 150,000 to MMK 300,000 with effect from 1 April 2024.
