Daphne’s areas of practice include employment, health & safety matters and regularly advises multinational and local employers across the full range of HR related issues, including drafting of employment contracts, establishing and implementing HR policies, managing performance issues and disciplinary processes and advising on reductions-in-force.

Daphne’s areas of practice also encompass the energy (including renewables) and infrastructure sectors. She is also familiar with the preparation and negotiation project documentation for infrastructure and public-private partnership projects.

In addition, Daphne also advises on a wide range of general corporate and commercial transactions. These include matters such as project development and structuring, operation and maintenance arrangements, distribution and agency arrangements, operation and maintenance arrangements, supply of goods and services and other service arrangements.

Prior to joining Allen & Gledhill in 2022, Daphne was a Partner in the litigation practice of Rahmat Lim & Partners, our associate law firm in Malaysia, where she also regularly undertakes advisory work on commercial matters and employment and industrial relations matters and has appeared at various levels of the Malaysian courts.
