Christopher’s areas of expertise span private and public take-overs, banking transfers and private equity transactions.

He has extensive experience acting for offerors and target companies in public take-overs, scheme of arrangements and delistings. His practice involves advising listed issuers on their regulatory and compliance work.

His experience encompasses banking transfers, having advised financial institutions on both the acquisition and disposal of banking business.

Chambers Asia-Pacific has recognised Christopher as a noted practitioner for Corporate/M&A: Domestic in Singapore.

Christopher joined the Firm in 2002 after he was called to the Singapore Bar and has been a Partner since 2008.

Work Highlights

  • Acted for Keppel Corporation in connection with its privatisation of Keppel Land by way of a voluntary general offer.
  • Acted for Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation in connection with the acquisition of the private wealth management business of Barclays Bank in Singapore and Hong Kong.
  • Acted for Singapore Technologies Semiconductors (a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek) in connection with the disposal of its stake in STATS ChipPAC.
