US$565.8 million initial public offering of Eagle Hospitality Trust
Allen & Gledhill advised Eagle Hospitality REIT Management Pte. Ltd., as the manager of Eagle Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT Manager”), Eagle Hospitality Business Trust Management Pte. Ltd., as the trustee-manager of Eagle Hospitality Business Trust (“Trustee-Manager”), together with the REIT Manager, the (“Managers”), and Urban Commons, LLC, as the sponsor of Eagle Hospitality Trust (“Sponsor”), on the initial public offering of Eagle Hospitality Trust (“EHT”) on the Mainboard of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
EHT is a stapled group comprising Eagle Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust and Eagle Hospitality Business Trust.
The gross proceeds raised was US$565.8 million (including from the issuance of stapled securities of EHT to certain cornerstone investors).
Advising the Managers and Sponsor were Allen & Gledhill Deputy Managing Partner Jerry Koh and Partners Chua Bor Jern and Jonathan Lee.
