MAS issues Compliance Toolkit for approvals, notifications and other regulatory submissions

On 2 December 2019, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) released a “Compliance Toolkit for Approvals, Notifications and Other Regulatory Submissions to MAS” (“Compliance Toolkit”).
Intended for licensed trust companies, exempt trust companies, exempt persons providing trust services and approved trustees of authorised collective investment schemes (“CIS”), the Compliance Toolkit aims to provide guidance on the requirements, the forms to be submitted, the scope of application, regulatory deadlines and legislative references in relation to the following:
- Applications for approvals from MAS
- Notifications to be submitted to MAS
- Financial returns to be submitted to MAS
- Approvals and notifications for approved CIS trustees
