Jeanne's areas of practice encompass equity and debt capital markets.

She has advised issuers and underwriters on market-leading domestic and international capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings of equity and business trusts, bond issuances, medium term note and commercial paper programmes, equity-linked securities, regulatory capital and Islamic finance. She also has substantial experience in derivatives and structured products.

Jeanne graduated from the University of Oxford with a B.A. (Hons) degree in 1999 and obtained a post-graduate LL.M. degree from University College London in 2000. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 2002 and is currently a non-practising solicitor, having been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales in 2004.

Prior to joining Allen & Gledhill in 2011, she had worked for nine years in the capital markets and derivatives and structured finance practices of a magic circle law firm, in its London, Hong Kong and Singapore offices.

Work Highlights

  • Advised Astrea IV Pte. Ltd. on the issuance of US$501 million asset-backed securities. Astrea IV is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Azalea Asset Management Pte. Ltd., which is indirectly wholly-owned by Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited. The transaction represents the first in the world offering of listed retail bonds backed by cashflows from private equity funds, and received multiple industry awards.
  • Advised Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited on the establishment of its S$5 billion Guaranteed Medium Term Note Programme, which was the first programme by a Singapore issuer which allows for offers to institutional/accredited investors as well as to retail investors pursuant to the seasoning and exempt bond frameworks.
