Issue of offshore CNY1.5 billion notes by Singapore Airlines Limited
Allen & Gledhill advised Singapore Airlines Limited (“SIA”) on the issue of offshore CNY1.5 billion 2.38% notes due 2031 under its S$10 billion medium term note programme.
This is SIA’s inaugural issuance of offshore CNY notes cleared with the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, as it looks to broaden its investor base and diversify beyond its traditional Singapore dollar and US dollar funding sources.
