- Co-contributed by Partner Afzal Ali and Senior Associate Joshua Hiew, Chapter 13, Enforcement in the Singapore International Commercial Court, explores the various means by which SICC judgments can be enforced in Singapore and abroad, and various other issues related to enforcement, including the ability to obtain a stay of enforcement pending appeal.
- Contributed by Dr Stanley Lai, SC, Chapter 15, Foreign Law, Foreign Lawyers, explores the role of foreign law in SICC proceedings, the judicial approach of the SICC to foreign law, and challenges and considerations relating to foreign legal systems and foreign law in cases before the SICC.
