Establishment of Galaxy Orientis China–ASEAN Investment Platform
Allen & Gledhill advised China Investment Corporation (“CIC”), which alongside the Indonesia Investment Authority and the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, have jointly established the Galaxy Orientis China–ASEAN Investment Platform (“CAIP”), a sovereign-led private equity platform dedicated to capturing long-term investment opportunities across the China–ASEAN corridor.
CAIP has reached a first close of approximately US$520 million, with a target size of US$1 billion.
Advising CIC were Allen & Gledhill Partners Jerry Koh, Jonathan Lee and Counsel Foo Jia Yu, supported by Partners Yong Kai Chang, Tan Zhi Feng, Sunit Chhabra and Han Junwei.
