IBA: FinTech - How the Financial Innovation Industry Is Taking Shape Around the World (2026)
Allen & Gledhill Partners Adrian Ang, Alexander Lawrence Yeo, and Alexander Yap, Senior Associate Benjamin Amaldas Samynathan, and Associate Yong De Wi contributed the Singapore chapter to FinTech: How the Financial Innovation Industry Is Taking Shape Around the World (2026), produced by the Banking & Financial Law Committee of the International Bar Association.
The guide provides a comparative overview of the regulatory treatment of FinTech activities worldwide. It explores how different jurisdictions regulate key areas of financial innovation, including payments, digital assets, lending, crowdfunding, and other technology-driven financial services.
The guide seeks to facilitate cross-border understanding of FinTech regulation and support market participants operating in an increasingly global and evolving regulatory environment.
