Thank you for reading our Financial Services Bulletin and visiting our Covid-19 Resource Centre. Though we have exited the circuit breaker and look forward to transitioning to normalcy, it will be a new normal, where vigilance and safety precautions remain key.

In this issue, we continue to cover legal and regulatory developments related to the coronavirus. For instance, we look at amendments to the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020 to provide more relief for eligible SME tenants, and at additional support measures in the Fortitude Budget, which include enhancements to the Jobs Support Scheme. We also look at further Covid-19 related guidance given by MOM (salary and leave, safe management measures, to name a few), PDPC and ACRA.

We are pleased, however, to see that the dominance of Covid-19 is receding, and we are able to report more widely. We cover two Singapore Court of Appeal cases on minority oppression and compensation for breach of fiduciary duties.

We are grateful for your ongoing support and readership. Should you have any thoughts or queries on our publications, please let us know by e-mail at publications@allenandgledhill.com.
