Kenneth S Lim

Kenneth is a Partner in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions department. His key areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity fundraising, corporate restructuring, employment law and general commercial contracts. He has acted for private equity firms, strategic investors and corporate clients on both local and cross-border transactions.

Kenneth has a special interest in the sustainability sector and has advised clients on investments into carbon project developers and sustainability consultants. In 2024, Kenneth was also seconded to GenZero, where he worked on carbon project and climate technology investments.

Kenneth also regularly advises clients on charity-related matters, such as charity establishment, compliance with charities regulations and guidelines and conversions of charities from registered societies to companies limited by guarantee.

Kenneth graduated from University College London with an LL.B. (Hons) degree.

Work Highlights

• Acted for Singtel in connection with its joint venture with Telekom Malaysia to develop and operate data centres in Malaysia.
• Acted for AirPower Technologies Limited, the PAG-backed industrial gases supplier in China, in connection with its acquisition of shares in Smart-Gas Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based cross-border industrial gases distributor.
• Acted for Mynd.ai, Inc. in connection with its disposal of its stake in Global EduHub, a leading private education group headquartered in Singapore.
