Budget 2021: Key highlights

Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat delivered the Budget Statement for the Financial Year 2021 on 16 February 2021. This year’s Budget comprises:

  • continued support for workers and businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic; and 
  • initiatives aimed at transforming the economy to adapt to global mega-shifts such as:
    • a changing competitive landscape 
    • rising inequalities; and
    • the importance of sustainability.
