Issue of S$1.5 billion notes by Temasek Financial (I) Limited
Allen & Gledhill advised Temasek Financial (I) Limited (“Issuer”), as transaction counsel, on the issue of S$1.5 billion 2.80% guaranteed notes due 2071 (“Notes”) under its US$25 billion guaranteed global medium term note programme.
The Notes are unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited (“Guarantor”).
This was a record tenor in the Singapore dollar market for plain vanilla bonds sold publicly (according to data compiled by Bloomberg).
Advising the Issuer and Guarantor as to Singapore law were Allen & Gledhill Partners Yeo Wico, Wu Zhaoqi and Sunit Chhabra.
