Allen & Gledhill establishes two new Practices to help clients seize new opportunities
We are excited to announce the establishment of two new Practices, to better serve our clients on complex and fast-changing legal issues.
Our new Technology Disputes Practice will be led by Tan Kai Liang and Melissa Mak. They are further supported by a team of lawyers who have a deep knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of the technology ecosystem. The team will complement our existing Technology and Corporate Intellectual Property Practice and will provide holistic counsel on all technology related matters. They have extensive experience working on technology related dispute resolution matters, including contractual and project implementation disputes, joint venture and shareholder disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty and governance issues in new technology, investigations and fraud, cryptocurrency and digital asset disputes, and technology related employment disputes.
Our new Healthcare, Life Science and Pharmaceuticals Practice will be led by Mak Wei Munn and Christopher Koh. Wei Munn and Christopher bring deep experience across specialist areas, having advised on a range of healthcare-related transactions and disputes. The Practice will help healthcare businesses stay attuned on the latest healthcare innovation and developments, and will provide advice on various business operation needs, including cross-border mergers & acquisitions, healthcare regulations and requirements, corporate reorganisation and restructuring, commercial agreements and contracts, establishment of healthcare infrastructure and other operational agreements.
“As technology and global markets continue to evolve, businesses will have to adapt to stay ahead of changing regulations and the shifting business landscape. Our expanded Practice Areas reflect our commitment to staying at the forefront of legal developments and supporting clients as they navigate new risks and opportunities.”, said Jerry Koh, Managing Partner at Allen & Gledhill.
