Higher work injury compensation limits from 1 November 2025

Pursuant to the Work Injury Compensation Act 2019 (Amendment of First and Fifth Schedules) Order 2025 (“Order”), the Work Injury Compensation Act 2019 has been amended with effect from 1 November 2025 to revise the compensation limits.
The compensation limits for death and permanent incapacity have increased by about 19% to S$269,000 and to S$346,000 respectively. The compensation limit for medical expenses has increased by about 17% to S$53,000. Details of the revised compensation limits are set out in the table below.
These revisions were first announced by the Ministry of Manpower (“MOM”) on 8 February 2024.
