Win Naing is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Myanmar with over 30 years of professional experience advising on a broad range of local and international legal matters. Prior to joining Allen & Gledhill (Myanmar), he served as a legal consultant and partner at several prominent regional law firms in Myanmar. He has been recognised as a ranked lawyer by Chambers and Partners for nine consecutive years and previously served as Vice-Chair of the Myanmar Insolvency Practitioners Association in 2022 and 2023.

Win Naing’s practice spans corporate, commercial, and investment law, with extensive experience advising both foreign and domestic clients on company incorporation, mergers and acquisitions, and major investment projects under Myanmar’s corporate and investment regimes. He has acted on notable matters including the public listing of a Myanmar company on the Singapore Exchange and cross-border acquisitions involving multinational beverage groups.

He also advises on large-scale project developments, including joint ventures, long-term lease agreements, and BOT arrangements across sectors such as oil and gas, cement, manufacturing, industrial estates, and port facilities. His expertise further extends to intellectual property, particularly trademark registration, protection, and enforcement.

In addition to his transactional and advisory work, Win Naing has been engaged by the Asian Development Bank as a local legal expert for a housing finance project in Myanmar. He has also contributed to the drafting and review of several key legislative instruments, including the Insolvency Law, Financial Institutions Law, Myanmar Companies Law, Apartment Law, and Arbitration Law, among others.
