Issue of S$300 million sustainability-linked notes by Sembcorp Industries Ltd
Allen & Gledhill, as transaction counsel, advised Sembcorp Industries Ltd (“SCI”) on the issue of S$300 million 3.735% sustainability-linked notes due 2029 (“Notes”) by Sembcorp Financial Services Pte. Ltd. (“SFS”) under the S$3 billion multicurrency debt issuance programme established by SCI and SFS.
Including the Notes, Sembcorp Group will have successfully raised approximately S$1.4 billion of green and sustainable financing within a year to support its strategic transformation from brown to green.
