The Allen & Gledhill network continues to be recognised by Lexology in Who’s Who Legal 2023 and the Client Choice Awards 2024
We are pleased to announce that in 2023, our lawyers from the Allen & Gledhill network, collectively known as A&G Asia, continue to be recognised as leading individuals by Who’s Who Legal (WWL), according to their various rankings.
In total, our lawyers were recognised times 121 across 28 practice categories. A total of 62 unique individuals from A&G Asia have been ranked by WWL, and 22 of these individuals were recognised as Global Elite Thought Leaders or Thought Leaders.
Global Elite Thought Leaders and Thought Leaders are defined by WWL as individuals who are “worthy of special mention owing not only to their vast expertise and experience advising on some of the world’s most significant and cutting-edge legal matters, but also their ability to innovate, inspire, and go above and beyond to deliver for their clients.”
In addition, our Partner, Vivian Ang, was named Lawyer of the Year for Shipping at the WWL Awards 2023 which took place in London on 9 November 2023. This is the third time that Vivian has won this award, having previously been awarded in 2020 and 2021.
WWL is one of the world’s leading directories of legal practitioners and non-lawyer consulting experts, and the WWL Awards commends the very best lawyers and firms in the international legal market across various practice areas and industries. Individuals who score the highest recommendation in the research conducted by WWL will be named as WWL Lawyer or Expert of the Year.
Further to our recognition in WWL, seven of our Partners from A&G Asia, Tan Wee Meng, Liew Wan Lin, Nicholas Soh, Shalene Jin, Allen Choong, Jonathan Lin, and Tran Thi Phuong Thao, have been announced as winners in their respective practice areas, in the Lexology Client Choice Awards 2024.
The Client Choice Awards recognises firms and lawyers that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. Nominations for the Client Choice Awards are only open to in-house counsel, and the winners are chosen following more than 2,000 responses worldwide.
