Grant of S$840 million syndicated secured green project facilities to Transcend Residential (Toa Payoh) Pte. Ltd.
Allen & Gledhill, as transaction counsel, advised DBS Bank Ltd. (“DBS”), Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (“OCBC”), CIMB Bank Berhad, Singapore Branch (“CIMB”), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited, Singapore Branch (“ICBC”), and Bank of China Limited, Singapore Branch ( “BOC”), on the grant of S$840 million syndicated secured green project facilities (“Facilities”) to Transcend Residential (Toa Payoh) Pte. Ltd..
The Facilities were granted for the purposes of, inter alia, financing up to S$710 million of the purchase price of the land and related acquisition costs, financing up to S$30 million of the land betterment charge payable in respect of the residential development to be constructed at the land (“Project”), and financing up to S$100 million of the construction and other development costs in relation to the Project.
