Issue of US$755 million asset-backed securities by Astrea 7 Pte. Ltd.
Allen & Gledhill, as transaction counsel, advised Astrea 7 Pte. Ltd. (“Astrea 7”) on the issue of S$526 million Class A-1 secured fixed rate bonds due 2032 (“Class A-1 Bonds”), US$175 million Class A-2 secured fixed rate bonds due 2032 (“Class A-2 Bonds”), and US$200 million Class B secured fixed rate bonds due 2032 (“Class B Bonds”, and together with the Class A-1 Bonds and the Class A-2 Bonds, the “Bonds”).
All three classes of Bonds are listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. The Bonds are the fourth issuance of retail bonds in Singapore backed by cash flows from private equity funds.
Advising Astrea 7 were Allen & Gledhill Partners Yeo Wico, Jeanne Ong, Andrew Chan, Jo Tay and Lim Pek Bur, and Counsel Kern Wong.
