MOM extends heightened safety period by three months from 1 March 2023 to 31 May 2023, with additional measures
On 10 February 2023, the Ministry of Manpower (“MOM”) announced that the heightened safety period will be extended by three months from 1 March 2023 to 31 May 2023, with additional measures introduced. These include mandatory training for chief executive officers and the board of directors and an increase in maximum fines in the event of breaches of regulations in relation to the Workplace Safety and Health Act 2006.
