US$690 million acquisition of minority stake in Coda Payments by Smash Capital and Insight Partners
Allen & Gledhill advised Smash Capital and Insight Partners, which were joined by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC, on their US$690 million investment in Coda Payments, a digital content monetisation platform based in Singapore.
Smash Capital is a later-stage investment firm which is focused on high growth consumer internet, software, and technology companies.
Insight Partners is a global software investor partnering with high-growth technology, software, and Internet startup and ScaleUp companies that are driving transformative change in their industries.
Allen & Gledhill worked closely with its associate firm in Malaysia, Rahmat Lim & Partners, and its network firm in Indonesia, Soemadipradja & Taher, to advise Insight Partners on the acquisition.
