Kee Yeng is a partner in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and also Co-Head of the Firm’s ESG & Public Policy Practice.

Her areas of practice encompass mergers and acquisitions (for both public and private companies), equity capital markets and corporate advisory work for financial institutions and public companies listed on the Singapore Exchange. Kee Yeng has advised sovereign funds, private equity firms and multinational corporates in an extensive range of domestic and cross-border transactions including public takeovers, private acquisitions and joint ventures. She is also actively involved in the listing of structured warrant programmes on the Singapore Exchange.

Kee Yeng has been recognised for her work in Corporate/M&A in Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific and IFLR1000. She has also been recommended by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for public mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining the Firm, she served as a Justices’ Law Clerk and as an Assistant Registrar with the Supreme Court of Singapore. Kee Yeng joined the Firm in 2007 and has been a Partner since 2009.

Work Highlights

  • Advised Jacobs Douwe Egberts, in its S$1.45 billion privatisation offer for Super Group.
  • Advised a consortium comprising Warburg Pincus, AVIC Trust, The Straits Trading Company, Cheung Kong Property Holdings and Mr John Lim on the privatisation of ARA Asset Management by way of a scheme of arrangement valued at S$1.8 billion.
  • Advised Perennial Real Estate Holdings on the general offer for Perennial China Retail Trust.
